1965 BOLIVIA A Quechua mayor from an Andean highland community in north Potosi, a region with the richest indigenous traditions. His poncho is hand made, his hat is of felt and his staff of office is resting against a column of the Cathedral in Potosi.

Camera: Nikon F 35mm Single Lens Reflex with Auto Nikkor F2.5 105mm lens.. Film - Kodak Plus X Pan 1/250 second F8. Developed in La Paz using Kodak Microdol at normal dilution.
