1961 ECUADOR In the province of Imbabura close to the equator two men are dressed and heading to a fiesta celebrating mid winter. The furry trousers were typical of the region where the height is over 2,500 metres (4000 feet). The days are warm but the nights are cold.

Camera: MPP Microflex Twin Lens Reflex with f 3.5 77.5mm Taylor Taylor Hobson lens Film Kodak Verichrome Pan at F5.6 - 1/125 second using x 2 yellow filter. Developed by hand in Bogota, using May and Baker Promicrol at normal dilution.
