1964 Peru. Espíritu Pampa - Vilcabamba. The picture shows the flanged buttress root of a giant rainforest tree partly covering Inca stonework. This is within the site of Vilcabamba, as it was found in 1964 and now verified as the last refuge of the Incas. Tony Morrison reached the site within weeks of the first report.
