1960 December - India. Kirloskarwadi, Maharashtra state. A young woman with flowers decorating her hair takes part in a classical Indian dance display. This picture was taken during one of two visits we made to this extraordinary, forward thinking industrial centre.

Camera MPP Microflex Twin Lens Reflex with F3.5 77.5mm Taylor Taylor Hobson lens - Film Kodak Tri X Pan at F5.6 - 1/125 second. Developed by hand in Aundh a village in Mahrashtra State using May and Baker Promicrol at normal dilution with water from the local well.
