1960 November - India. Aundh, Maharashtra state. A stall in the village street with hand-beaten brassware. The detail of the handwork shows in the surface but the trade was dying. By 2000 when I last searched for this type of pot I was told it was rare and had been replaced by machine made look-a-likes.

Camera MPP Microflex Twin Lens Reflex with F3.5 77.5mm Taylor Taylor Hobson lens - yellow filter 1x. Film Kodak Verichrome Pan at F8 - 1/300 second. Developed by hand in Aundh using May and Baker Promicrol at normal dilution with water from the village well.
