1960 November - India. Pusegaon, Maharashtra state. A meal with the village council [gram panchayat]. We sat on a floor of dried cow dung with our brass thali dishes, chapatis, rice, dall and a bowl of curried meat. Water flasks stand on the ground beside the dishes.

Camera MPP Microflex Twin Lens Reflex with F3.5 77.5mm Taylor Taylor Hobson lens - yellow filter 1x. Film Kodak Tri X Pan at F4 - 1/30 second. Developed by hand in Koregaon using May and Baker Promicrol at normal dilution with water from the village well.
