1960 September Turkey. The Rustem Pasha mosque [Rustem Pasa Camil] at sunset, Istanbul. By 1960 the highly polished symbols of the automotive industry were on the march across the world. By the time I returned to Istanbul in 2014 the huge 'gas guzzlers' had gone but cars /automobiles were everywhere.

Camera: MPP Microflex Twin Lens Reflex with F3.5 77.5mm Taylor Taylor Hobson lens. Film Kodak Verichrome Pan at F8 - 1/125 second. Developed by hand in a village in India using May and Baker Promicrol at normal dilution with water from the local well.
